Lovely Hotel!- December 2024
Lovely accommodation with welcoming and helpful staff. Many amenities. Great location for Aviva stadium and city centre. And to have parking included in this location is very important. We enjoyed our stay very much and would highly recommend!
Great place and affordable – November 2024
Love the stay. 15mins walk to Aviva. Close to pubs and shops. Friendly staff, they also helped me check-in early. Modern bathrooms and rooms. Staff are always willing to help. Will definitely be staying here again. Parking also available in front.
Waterloo House – fantastic – November 2024
Great location, spacious and comfortable room, walking distance to Trinity College and Grafton street shopping. William Searson pub at the end of the block is first rate. Checkin and checkout was easy. Several coffee shops nearby, Starbucks and locals.
Beautiful stay, great price and rooms – November 2024
My husband and I were just staying one night in Dublin while traveling around Ireland. This was such a gem to find! Beautiful rooms and the staff member that we interacted with was so kind. Room was EXCELLENT. It was perfect sized for just the two of us, and the bathroom was beautiful! Super quiet area as well, with not much noise from other guests or from the street.
A Gem in Dublin – October 2024
The hotel is a beautiful Georgian building with a lot of character. The decor is a mix of modern and traditional elements, and the rooms are comfortable. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. They went out of their way to make sure my family had a comfortable and enjoyable stay. Overall, I had a great experience at the Waterloo Townhouse and Suites. It’s a beautiful hotel in a great location and with excellent service.
Beautiful Dublin Stay – October 2024
Beautiful stay. We were lucky enough to visit with our young family in October and we had such a wonderful time. The location was great, quiet, well-connected to public transport and a stones throw from lovely restaurants and excellent coffee shops. Staff couldn’t have been more helpful and the room was immaculate. Would recommend to all.
Exceptional – October 2024
Lovely hotel and so central to everything. The rooms very warm, cosy and clean. On arrival the Manager Vikum met me at the door, helped my get checked in, made me a tea and helped me with my bags to the elevator. He was very friendly, welcoming, helpful and went above and beyond for me. I will definitely be back.
Great Stay at Waterloo House – October 2024
Great location, well maintained Georgian style townhouse close to local bus stop as well as Aircoach bus to Dublin airport. Short bus trip to downtown, very walkable to Trinity campus and St Stephens Green. Comfortable bed, nice amenities, quiet overnight, staff very friendly and helpful. Enjoyed the reception area with the tea and coffee. Would definitely stay here again!
Lovely Stay – October 2024
My husband and I booked the Garden Suite for ourselves and a King room for our two grown daughters, wanting something a little different than a hotel chain. Both rooms were just lovely, very comfortable, clean with luxurious feel. The sitting area in the Garden Suite gave us all the ability to hang out together the first night as we were tired from travel and space to accommodate a night owl and early riser. The proprietor thankfully allowed us to drop our bags off prior to our room availability which allowed us to start exploring the city right away. The location was really ideal, within walking distance of many restaurants and pubs while being on a more residential street. We were able to walk to all the sights we had hoped to see, and more, from this location. Do note, it is necessary to take stairs to access the building and some rooms, but this was not an issue for us. We would recommend this lovely boutique hotel.
Comfortable and welcoming – September 2024
Our room was clean and well equipped with comfortable beds, with a lovely view out the window. We felt welcomed from the moment Ranga greeted us upon our arrival with excellent coffee, which was much appreciated after our nonstop flight from the United States.
A unique and wonderful experience 100% SATISFIED – July 2024
Fantastic experience, I am fully satisfied with the service. First of all, the elegance and style of this Gregorian Era building are something unique. I can say that, as expressed by some reviews, the rooms are not huge, but still very liveable and repay with their refined beauty and refinement. Our personal experience was phenomenal. We were welcomed with extreme professionalism and kindness, and received a free upgrade to the suite. The place is located not far from the centre, with many bus stops just outside the house, equipped with video-monitored parking. The neighbourhood is quiet and extremely quiet during night, resulting in very good sleeping.
The service offered was excellent, we really liked the beauty of the room and the tea set, as well as the very clean environment and the attention to detail.
A special mention for the kind gentleman who welcomed us with extreme professionalism and kindness, was always very helpful and thus contributed to raising the standard of our experience.
I am very happy to be able to recommend all this to others, I would add that it is worth spending more for a suite, I am sure it would be worth it.

Great family lodgings for Dublin Visit – July 2024
Highly recommend. Comfortable, clean, reasonably priced accommodations in an old Georgian townhouse. Appreciated the free parking right in front of the townhouse and ability to check in early with no hassle or added cost. Room (a triple) was well appointed and had everything we needed. Location is decent — about a twenty minute walk to St. Stephen’s Green and very close to a good array of restaurants and stores. A great choice!
Beautiful Georgian Hotel – June 2024
A gorgeous hotel and very comfortable for our child – who slept on the sofa bed- too! Located in a wonderful neighbourhood, with plenty of restaurants nearby, including those that open early for breakfast. A twenty – thirty minute walk from the medieval part of town.
Very grand, beautiful and very clean – June 2024
Beautiful area, very grand and well maintained. The rooms and un-Suites where spotless. We only stated one night for a concert, but was very impressed with the Staff, Accommodation and cleanliness. Will definitely be returning. David & Patricia.x
Fun n Dublin – June 2024
Great location. Quiet but pretty easy walk to the city center. Nicely decorated with a very comfortable bed and great pub with music and great food half a block away. Responsive staff. Coffee bar was appreciated but also a couple other f excellent coffee shops a block away.
Loved the Waterloo – June 2024
This was our first stop when we landed in Dublin and we stayed 4 days. The room is small but the amenities abound. The staff are amazing and the bed top notch. We love the shower and the added desk although a little tight was perfect for writing post cards. The Waterloo is only an easy 20 minute walk to town and buses are everywhere if you need one. There are restaurants near by and plenty of coffee shops at your finger tips.
Homely, comfy, classy hotel – June 2024
Such a comfy bed, bright room with clean and stylish bathroom in a really quiet area. We loved Bunsen and Eathos just round the corner for dinner and breakfast. Really good value for the amount of space we had and a great spot to explore Dublin from.

Excellent hotel, convenient, good service. Very comfortable beds. Walking distance to 3Arena and Aviva. No breakfast ( which we knew). Coffee machine in foyer ( not 24 hours) Coffee machine in room. Helpful staff. Would stay again. Parking available, though limited.

Very quiet , clean and friendly staff.
Location is close to local pubs and coffee shops. Walkable to a lot of main attractions in Dublin. We would not hesitate to book again. The cofffee and tea station in the lobby is nice to have.
